Bluepoints Marina at Port Canaveral will host a Kids Fishing Clinic presented by Rendezvous Fishing Charters from 9a.m. to 11 a.m. on December 31, 2011.

The clinic is geared toward helping aspiring anglers ages 7 to 12, learn the basics of angling, including casting, knot tying, tackle selection, angler ethics and proper catch-and-release practices.

• All participants will get to fish after completion of the skills clinic.
• Lunch will be provided by Bluepoints Marina.
• The event is limited to the first 100 registrants.
• A donation of $10.00 per child is suggested.
